Al Wakrah Sports Club is a professional football club based in the city of Al Wakrah, Qatar. It was founded in 1959 and has a history of participating in the Qatar Stars League, Qatar’s top football league. The club has won several national championships including the Qatar Stars League championship in 1999, the Sheikh Jassim Cup in 2001, and the Qatar Cup in 2021.
The club’s home stadium is the Al Wakrah Stadium, which was redeveloped for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
